Reminder

My dining room has been Cheer-Central!

A week or two ago I had rolls and rolls of sparkly, silver vinyl arrive for new uniform shirts.  Tonight the shirts were being worked on!

I went thru my mountain of cheer paperwork today.  Tomorrow I’ll have time to bring up the rest of the cheer supplies from the attic and go thru those.  I have a few more details to attend to; and the rest of the season will be smooth sailing!

I’m thinking that I probably should have spent more time this summer sorting and inventory-ing and such.  Oh well.  We’ll make it thru!

At tonight’s practice, for the second practice in three weeks, there was a rainbow.  A rainbow.  A promise that God is always with us.  Just in case I was going to let this thing stress me out (maybe a tad); there was a reminder to chill out and have faith.

I was having a conversation with one of my children recently about rainbows.  The children are older now and have learned the science behind rainbows.  So I was asked, how can the rainbow be a promise from God if it is made with rain and sun?  Silly children, because God is the one who set it in motion for the rain and the sun to make the rainbow!

Tonight I am thankful that we are off to a good start for cheer season!  And I am thankful for a rainbow reminder that we’ll continue to be ok with this!
