Made It!

Today was one of those days where I think I must have been sleeping when I scheduled my day . . seriously.

In reality, it was me trying to be accommodating to people for appraisals.  The snotty side of me doesn’t want to be so thoughtful.  That snotty side hears people say things like, “Well, I work so I can’t be there during the day”.  And wants to respond with, “What the h*&# do you think I do??  So we both work, but only one of us needs an appraisal.  Guess who needs to bend a little here??”  That would be horrible customer service of course and not a good business decision.

So I take a deep breath and offer early morning appointments and sometimes later afternoon appointments (though football season makes that not so easy!).  I don’t do weekend appointments with people.  I may do vacant houses at my leisure on weekends occasionally.  But I keep weekends people-in-houses free for my own sanity.

Every once in a while I get a day like today.  I was up without enough sleep . . again.  I really did better last week with sleep.  This week has not been so impressive.  Anyway, today, dropped the kids at school and sped to the first appointment.  Then a small tour of mid Michigan with a small break at my computer for about 45 minutes.  Then I was off on yet another small tour of mid Michigan.

Tonight I am thankful that I made all of my appointments today!  On Time – well close anyway.  And I am still standing at the end of the day!  Not for long though, I’m off to bed.  I hope everyone out there made it thru your day ok too!
