Strolling

My son has a school project due at the end of the week involving a timeline of special events in his life.  He and I have been going back and forth about special events.

He had two different special events of him sitting at a desk.  Somehow I don’t think that is something that stands out as special in his life so far.

For one year, he wanted a picture of him smiling.  I can get on board with that idea.  “Here I was when I was 3 and I was happy”.  I think that is ok.  Perhaps with a little detail added of course.

Going thru old pictures has been fun 🙂  I’ve gotten carried away with pictures a little bit.  That’s not really the best thing right now, I’ve got a lot of other things on my desk.  But, I’ll tell you that maybe this is the best thing for me right now anyway.  There is just a lot going on in life right now.  So taking some time out to stroll down memory lane has been a very nice break!

Tonight I am thankful for the multitude of pictures that have been taken over the years!  I don’t have a good memory when it comes to pictures and details.  So I really need to keep those as actual pictures to look back on.  Sometimes it was me snapping the camera.  Lots of times I let the kids have the camera (which may account for the large number of pictures of favorite toys that are saved on my hard drives!).  Nonetheless, it’s been fun looking at all of them!
