This is the last week of the Healthy Eating Habits challenge that I’ve been a part of.  I keep going back and forth between thinking this was the best timing for this thing and the worst timing!

Honestly, it is the best.  For this period of life, these two months are the most stressful and busy for me and our family.  So now is as good a time as any to work on dedication and discipline!

So far I have lost weight every week except last week.  Last week I was at a stand still.  Last week I also indulged too many days with my friend Howie.  Hungry Howie that is.  Howie makes delicious pizza!

With this being the last week, I have a renewed dedication!  This is it!  The final moments! The final weigh in is Sunday!

Actually, it’s not the final anything really.    This is a lifestyle change for me.  Yes, I’ll indulge here and there.  But I have a ways to go to get a healthy weight for me.  I’ve known that I’ve needed to make some much healthier changes for quite a while now.  I’ve spent time researching a few things and following others for inspiration.  This was a long time coming and I’m not stopping after this week.  I’m feeling pretty proud of myself so far.  And I plan on continuing down this path!

Tonight I am thankful for this Healthy Habit Challenge!  It was just the kick off that I needed to fix things that have been broken with regards to me!  If I do win, I’ve already decided to take the family out to Tomato Brothers for dinner!!  And if I don’t win . . . well, I might take the family out to Tomato Brothers anyway because I’ve done good!
