New

Last night I stayed up pretty late.  I accepted a new-to-me type of assignment and I wanted to make sure I had it just right!

But I didn’t.  I just can’t find the data that I want to find.  I have been looking all over!  I had resigned myself to using the best data that I could find.  And I set out for my day this morning.

Then it hit me when I was driving!  I have some of my best thoughts while driving!  I thought of a whole other avenue that might produce some helpful sales information for my assignment!  I was so hopeful!  Except, when would I have time to research?  The assignment was due today.  *sigh*

About an hour later I received a phone call.  The assignment was not due today!  I had been told the wrong date!  It is really due in two more weeks! TWO MORE WEEKS!!  YAY!

Today I had a lot of wonderful things happen!  And picking the topic for tonight’s blog was a little difficult.  But as I sit here trying to keep my eyelids open after not sleeping enough last night, working on this assignment; I can tell you that the relief that I felt from that phone call was ginormous!

Tonight I am thankful for accepting new challenges.  It’s always good to try something new!  And I am extra thankful that I have extra time to complete my new, challenging something new!
