Dark

For the last three or four years the kids and I have rode in a fifteen mile bike race in Howell during Melon Fest weekend.  This year, they are not having a race there!!

We have found another race to do!  It isn’t for another month or so.  So we still have time to condition.

The Melon Fest is this weekend.  I can tell you, it is a good thing that we don’t have a long race this weekend!  I am NOT ready!  We decided to go for a ride tonight and I misjudged daylight a little after getting my bike fixed up!

Tonight I am thankful for what turned in to a moonlit bike ride by the last mile!  I am thankful I have lights on my bike!  And I am thankful we got home before it got completely dark out!
