Differences

I am of the opinion that there are a lot of very impressive things about Dolly Parton. One of the things that hits home a little more with me is her relationship with her husband. She wanted to pursue music and be famous; and he did not. Now they have decades of respecting each other and supporting each other, despite what some would consider to be too big of lifestyle differences.

You may notice that I mention the hubster on here, but I don’t write specifics about his life often. This is because he isn’t interested in being online. And he isn’t nearly as open with people as I am. I like to travel, and explore. He doesn’t. So, I go exploring and traveling and don’t drag him along. We don’t have to have the same interests. And we can be supportive without being in the same space.

Tonight I am thankful for the differences that make us who we are. I am thankful for trust. And I am thankful for the times when we do get to meet in the middle and can both find enjoyment itigs tat wouldn’t be our normal.
