When my second oldest was in fourth grade, we went to a museum that had a jersey in it from the Dalmac. He asked then if we could do it. He was around 10 years old. We made a smaller goal then of the Doc May Memorial bike race in Howell. I believe at that time, that bike race was 15 miles.
Since then, I’ve considered the Dalmac a few times. I think it was a year ago, or maybe two, that I did a little poll online here and talked to people who had done it.
Well . . I think this is the year! This is the year for my crazy and big goal! I may have one to two kiddos do it with me! I’m still doing some research. But, I think this is it!
Tonight I am thankful for crazy, big goals! I’m excited! This will be challenging and so rewarding!!!!
