Conditions

From today, it is 60 days until the Dalmac! We are doing the four day route. We’ve got some training goals in place. And part of that includes training in less than perfect weather.

Today was rainy, but we went out!

When we went this morning, it was raining. Several miles in to our ride, it cleared up a bit. That was nice 🙂

This afternoon, it was raining a bit harder when we left. Several miles in to the afternoon ride, it cleared up a bit. That was nice again! But, about four-ish miles from home, it started raining again. The closer we got to home, the more it turned in to angry rain!

I had checked the weather radar before we left and I was fairly confident that we could beat the lightening and thunder part of the storm. When we got home, we started taking off our drenched things, and then I heard the first thunder!

Tonight I am thankful for getting some practice in rainy conditions! I am thankful for the several miles without rain! And I am thankful for getting home before the thunder! We got some good miles in today!
