With technology, comes digital chores. I’m behind on cleaning out my email. I’m behind on cleaning out pictures from social media – I only leave certain ones up for a little bit; but Facebook made it a much bigger chore by not letting me select multiple pictures at a time anymore . . . urgh!
Anyway, one chore that I’ve been putting off for years has been cleaning up my list of logins and passwords. Inspiration hit me tonight, while unwinding from a nice Fourth of July.
I thought I’d share some gems. On my list, I still had my login for Myspace (need I say more), Nextel (not sure how long they haven’t been around), Nick Jr (my kids haven’t logged in to that in probably a decade), Sallie Mae (student loans have been paid off for a long time now!), Payless shoes (this one made me sad), and Pampers . . . we have been diaper free for a long, long time in this household!!
Tonight I am thankful for removing 398 logins and passwords that I no longer need!! Ok, I didn’t just remove them because I get paranoid about removing something that I may need again someday. So, I put them in the record retirement home!
*This picture is not really related, except it was taken today at the lake when we were enjoying our Fourth of July with Family!!
