No Vegas

I had been planning this trip to Las Vegas. I have always wanted to go! And when a convention/real estate learning thing popped up, I was intrigued. Then when I received a 50% off code, I was in!

I had the airline. I had the hotel. I had the shuttle service. I bought a ticket to a show. I talked with people who had been to Vegas. I bought a few clothes.

But, this just turned out to not be the right time for me. The real estate learning wanted more $$ to have the full content. I never received an agenda. I was looking forward to some of the speakers, but after taking away a day of content that I was looking forward to, I wasn’t so sure I’d hear the speakers that I wanted. There were some work things, some personal things, and the cherry on the top – I found another education that I wanted more.

So, I cancelled the airline. I cancelled the hotel. I never did figure out how to cancel the shuttle service. I am in the process of taking care of the ticket. I saved notes from the suggestions from people who have been to Vegas. Because, I will go sometime! I have wanted to go for many years! But, when I go, it will be the right time, and I want to fully enjoy it!

For now, I am several sessions in with my new education. I have virtual meetings two days this week and am surely liking the content so far!!

Tonight I am thankful for making the right call here! It is hard some times to cancel bigger plans. Especially when the reasoning is that the time wasn’t right – there wasn’t one big glaring thing that threw this off. It just wasn’t the right time. And I’m ok with that. But, we never regret doing the right thing in a situation. And this was my right thing!

P.S. Here is an outfit that I had for Vegas! The pants were from Temu. The shirt from Goodwill. My whole sparkly outfit was under $10!!! Its going in my “Vegas Someday – When It Is the Right Day” bag!
