With operation “downsize the office”, there has been a different furniture need. We have sold quite a bit of the furniture that will no longer work. And I’ve had to pick up a couple of pieces to make things continue to work.

One such item, I found new for $1300. HA! I don’t pay $1300 for one piece of furniture! Except maybe like a bed. I don’t personally care for the idea of a second hand bed. Maybe I’ve been in to too many questionable houses. Anyway, this wasn’t about a bed so whatever. Ok, after I found what I wanted brand new, I went searching on Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist to see what I could find use.

I almost settled for one that wasn’t quite right and would need a lot of work. And then, this beauty popped up!! $150 and an hour and a half away drive. I’ll take it! I grabbed a kiddo and we went to get it! When we got to the office, we didn’t have a dolly, and it was pretty heavy. So we called another kiddo! He was on his way home from work and swung out to help!

Tonight I am thankful for kiddo helpers and a fantastic deal! We saved over $1,000!! It cost me Taco Bell for one kiddo and some cash for another kiddo. Now I have a desk that hides away the mess and that matches the existing bookshelves!
