See this gal here? She thought that she had this day planned soooo well. Several hours were set aside to plan out lessons for the homeschooled kiddo. She noticed weeks ago that some of the materials were in a different format than last school year, but things change, so no big deal.

Until today, when it was discovered that the difference was the unaccredited program versus the accredited program. Yep, that “she” is “me”, and I bought the wrong complete 10th grade curriculum! This is a pretty big difference, as my homeschool kiddo plans on going back to public school in the next year or two. For this to happen, the program has to be accredited.

Tonight I am thankful for the super nice and helpful people at Abeka customer support. The accredited curriculum will be here soon and I am sending this program back. My homeschool kiddo is pretty happy too. He was going to start school next week. But now he gets to wait for the new materials!
