Irresponsible 🤣

For my kiddo’s trip, I had booked an AirBnb for the first night. I looked at places for the next night and could not make a decision! I told him that we would just find a hotel when we were in Vermont, wherever we happened to stop. My teenager said to my, “Sounds irresponsible”. Ah, teenage judgement! I laughed and explained how it was ok.

Turns out a lot of people come to Vermont for fall colors! 🤣 I still won’t call the decision irresponsible. There were just less choices than I had anticipated.

I do participate in irresponsible behavior. Like going to Canada without quite everything they would have preferred to let us in; still thankful they let us pass! And maybe changing in to my pj pants before going to the vending machine, so I send the kiddo. Maybe even getting in to Vermont and heading North, because surely that is where they keep their colorful trees; then driving at least 20 minutes before checking their online fall foliage map to find the colorful trees are to the east. But, I will not claim the lady minute hotel irresponsible! Nope, I have to draw a line somewhere!

Tonight I am thankful that all of the hiccups haven’t ruined the trip! Maybe I could plan better, but I really wanted this to be a more exploring type of adventure; so I didn’t want to plan too much, mission accomplished, eh? 😁 Tonight I am thankful for the sightseeing today! Really though, I am absolutely most thankful for the time with my kiddo! ❤❤
