Authentic

There is a line in business and in life that sits between what you think you should do to fit a certain mold and what you want to do, just being yourself. As an individual, I have gotten fairly good over the years at standing on that line with my back to the things people think I should do, and just being me.

In the business world, I hesitate more often. I’ve gotten good at not caring at all with the appraisal business. I care a little more with the brokerage, but I try not to. And now, with the coaching business, Escalate Love, I am having to remind myself much more often.

The facts are in about marketing responses and trends. Using a portion of that research while staying genuinely myself, without playing in to tends to possibly boost the business, takes more work!

Tonight I am thankful for the reminder in my soul today to just be me. I’m not Jessie, the social media person playing to the ratings. Nope, I’ll remain just myself, Just Jessie.
