The saying “I remember every time . . . ” is laughable to me. I don’t remember every time I say or do something! Ha! My memory is not nearly that precise! Although, I have said “I’ll never drive a minivan!” quite often. And, of course I do remember the first time I bought a minivan years and years ago! I absolutely hated how much I loved it!
I drove a minivan for lots of years. Then, when we graduated to the Excursion, I went to a smaller car. I put around 40,000 miles a year on a vehicle. So, driving a smaller car made sense for me.
Well . . . as I was forced in to a vehicle purchase, with my car being in an accident, I started thinking about something bigger. I do like to have the room to haul things. And, well, our upcoming months and years will involve several trips many states away as two of my kiddos are moving hundreds of miles away.
We were looking online and found a pretty darn good deal, just about an hour away! I have always been skeptical of rebuilt titles. But my brother bought a vehicle with a rebuilt title years ago and has had no issues. So, that dwindled my skepticism to be vehicle specific. Our new addition had all the paperwork of the repairs that were done and of the state certification of the repairs to have the title go from salvage to rebuilt.
Tonight I am thankful for our new addition! I haven’t named it yet . . it should be something adventurous, as this vehicle will be doing some traveling! I am thankful for saving a good deal of money with this newer vehicle with very low miles! And I am super thankful that it drove home wonderfully, even with me pushing some limits to see how it did!
