This is a term that I have used for years. Maybe I made it up? That’s ok. It is just the concept of having a kiddo do something, while I offer something in return.
Some may call it bribing. But, really it is a realistic portrayal of life. You get to work and expect a paycheck. So is your employer bribing you to work, or are they incentivizing you with a salary? Same theory, different connotation with the word choice 😉
Well today, I needed help on a project. My slowly healing arm makes it difficult to work on flooring! And it just so happened that my kiddo wanted additional online video game spending. Interesting predicament we found ourselves in; wouldn’t you say?
Tonight I am thankful for incentively parenting my kiddo and getting my flooring done!! We have a few things to finish tomorrow. Then we move on to the walls!
