Well, when planning for Thanksgiving, I had certainly not planned a trip to the hospital! But, that is where I went today anyway.
I tripped and went face first in to a messy situation. A handful of hours, one x-ray, 6 stitches on my forehead, and one stitch on my eyelid later, and I was free to go back home.
Tonight I am thankful that we had a great breakfast before I was injured! I am thankful the hubster got us to the ER in good time! I am thankful that although I lost a bit of blood, I didn’t loose too much to hurt me. I am thankful for a nice and talented doctor to take care of me. I am super thankful for all the kiddos who cleaned up the blood I left all over AND made our Thanksgiving dinner!! It was delicious! They did great!
