I hope everyone had a good Christmas today! I stayed out of the emergency room, so already a step up from Thanksgiving! 🤣

Really I needed a restful day. I was explaining over the holidays that the stitches are healing like they should. The hold-up is the healing of the nerve, veins, and whatever that was damaged by my eye. I still get shooting nerve pains if I raise my eyebrows too quickly or too high. I have to be careful how I use my eyes, looking around too much, lights, etc. So, I wore myself out just using my face and limited interactions with people for Christmas. But, I am healing! And I got to participate in Christmas!!

That is what is most exciting!! Kiddos have been here. Family was visited! We even got to attend the candlelight service at church last night together!! ❤

Tonight I am thankful for celebrating Christmas with family! I am thankful for a restful day! And thankful for my kiddo spoiling me and insisting I try to help my eyes relax too!! 😊
