Time

Sometimes time loses its meaning. That is how I would sum up 2023 (I know there are days left, I’m not rushing, just reflecting). There were many years when I would work on two lists close to New Year’s; one list of the big things in the year ending and one list of plans for the upcoming year. I may try that this year, the putting it all down on paper. I mean, it swirls around inside of me, so the writing could bring clarity.

We wrapped up our “longest move ever”, sold our house of 10 years, had a kiddo surgery, kiddo graduation, kiddo got engaged – then married – then moved out of state, kept homeschooling a kiddo, then added homeschooling another kiddo – then an early kiddo graduation, car accident, car totalled, accident landing in ER, hubster job back in January, residential real estate appraisal industry turning on its head in hugely negative ways, 3 agents leaving my brokerage (all for personal reasons, no hard feelings involved!), redefining the vision for both businesses, realizing God’s next plans for me to launch new business – and learning like crazy to be prepared, downsizing office space and making way for new tenants (they are wonderful!), and all the regular life stuff on top of that! In writing this, I can feel why time lost its impact this year. God is definitely with us! We could not have made it thru without God!

2024, oh, we’ve got big plans! I plan on visits to kiddos! Spending time with kiddos, family time is always the bestest! Escalate Love will open the door to one on one coaching in January! Plans are being finalized for the roll-out of other tools and services! I am blessed for God’s warning that I needed patience with this process! We are building a strong foundation for this business to be able to help as many people as possible! Ethos RE West will continue helping our wonderful clients! GS Appraisals will continue providing our best services!

Tonight I am thankful for 2023. Seriously there was so, so much – lots of good, some bad, a bit overwhelming. I am thankful for all the good to come in 2024!!
