Last week I bought a 2024 monthly planner for $3. It was a flash sale :) Now, I truly have been working on not buying things just because they are on sale . . especially things that I don’t need. This time, it turned out to be a good purchase!
This week I entered into a friendly competition that started from a random comment made during a business meeting. It was good timing! I’m all motivated from losing weight while recovering. I know that wasn’t the healthiest way to lose weight, but I’m still motivated from it! And what a better way to keep going, than with a little friendly competition!? 🙂
So, now I have 3 1/2 months! Fortunately this is a friendly competition, more to stay motivated and accountable. Although we did set up stakes so the, um, we’ll say 2nd runner up to winning will have to pay up :) Of course really, we’ll both win.
Tonight I am thankful for some good motivation and competition to get healthy!! This is exciting! Oh, and the stakes? Well I suggested the not-first-place participant talks in a Texas accent while in Texas for a leadership event! My competitor, well he was a bit more practical with the stakes of paying for dinner for our group. So, it will be a dinner with a Texas accent! 🤣🤣🤣 GAME ON!!
