The Majority

This morning, I set a work goal for myself today! 

By around 2ish, I realized my work goal was maybe a little too high. So, I adjusted the goal a bit.

By 6pm, I had accomplished 80% of the goal! Tonight I am honestly still deciding if the majority of the goal is good enough. Sometimes it is not. Sometimes there is a goal that needs to be 100% every time! Sometimes a goal doesn’t need 100%. Sometimes, like now, its not clear what the goal needs – 100% or the majority.

Tonight I am thankful that there are still four hours left in the day! I am hoping to get an idea for the last 20% of the goal. It’s not here yet. I may get an idea. I may not. For now, I will celebrate the 80%! And maybe in the next few hours I’ll celebrate 100%. I am thankful that either way, I made some good strides today!
