My boy was so excited today!
This was a long road for him to get here, but he made it. His recruiter had lost faith when he injured his shoulder. He had a great doctor and physical therapist, who both agreed that they could get him back to 100%! And they did!
Then came the part of ensuring the military that he was indeed 100%. My boy had a back-up plan. But he also had a lot of patience. And just when he was giving up, they approved him.
Tonight I am thankful that my boy gets to follow his dream! I haven’t seen him this excited in a long time! His smile was wonderful! He’s going to do great!
Oh, the food pic? That was our dinner tonight with him before we dropped him off to start his adventure!
