Birthday!

See the little guy in the picture?  The tiny one who came in to the world so loved by three older siblings!  It’s his birthday tomorrow!

My heart is a pile of mush.  This one is hitting different with half of this crew being out of the state.  We’ll make the special for him.  But something will be missing. ❤

Thru the many years of this blog I have written about my kiddo crew being my heart.  And they absolutely are.  God has blessed me beyond measure when he let me be their Momma and their friend.  I am so proud of my grown-up and almost grown-up kiddos!  Our adventures are changing, and they are forging their own adventures.  And I am so happy and excited for them!  Sometimes when I look at them though, they still look like this to me. ❤  Shh, don’t tell them!  I try to be very intentional with treating them as grown-ups and not my babies.  I think I do good the majority of the time.

Tonight I am thankful for the years of getting to be a Momma to my kiddos!  I am thankful for a very happy birthday tomorrow!  I hope I will surprise him enough!  He is the king of big plans!  While I do have limits. . . Like I am not surprising him with a birthday trip to Disney; although I’m sure he would love that.  Heck, almost anyone would love that! 😁
