The Gall – So Punny!

Collins dictionary says “If you say that someone has the gall to do something, you are criticizing them for behaving in a rude or disrespectful way. [disapproval]”.

I think – now I haven’t researched this at all – I think that is why a gall bladder is called that!  Because it is rude, disrespectful; and I disapprove!!

If you search “gall bladder factors”, the first two things that come up are being a woman and being over 40.  RUDE! If you keep researching you’ll find sweet drinks and flares of estrogen. DISRESPECTFUL!

I probably should have went to ER yesterday.  But, dang it, I wasn’t going to go to ER on a holiday again!  That would have put me at a 33% Emergency Room to Holiday ratio in the past 6 months.  Those are not good numbers!

If my scientifical hypothesis is correct, this will become a debilitating issue again in roughly one month with another surge of estrogen.  In one month, I’ll be watching my boy graduate boot camp and I assure you, if it is within my power, I won’t go to the ER then either!

I could have went today I guess.  Today was better, but not all the way better.  I just don’t want to go in and not get help.  That’s what happened last time.  Ok, last time was years ago.  So what? I’m not over it!  I had went to my doctor, then referred to a scan, then heard, “yep something had happened here.”  I don’t remember the number of sarcastic comments that rolled thru my mind.

Anyway, next time at least I know to go the ER to get help when it is bad.  Now I just have to actually go there. I talked to my Mom this morning and told her how the waist band of my sweatpants just about had me in tears yesterday.  She thought that definitely sounded like they would have helped me.  But I had appointments today, and yesterday was a holiday. . .

Tonight I am thankful that today was better!  I am also thankful that I can joke about this.  I wish I could sign a form and just get all unnecessary organs removed at once.  That would be good! Why wait, right?
