Lost Lolly

I took a batch of screens in to the hardware store a couple of weeks ago. There were a handful of windows that I could not remove the screen from. Like, I seriously don’t know how. I have to do some research because these windows seem to have been made with unmoveable screens.

Anyway, these screens are not kitty cat proof. I love the pet proof screening! And I want to change all the windows over to that! Of course, I need to be able to take the screens off the house to get them rescreened with the animal proof screens. So the house has some windows that we watch the kitties in. Except for today.

It was me. I opened the window. I thought it was ok. Then the hubster walked by and there was a hole in the window with Lolly the cat missing. We went around outside calling and calling. No Lolly in sight.

Tonight I am thankful that at approximately 11:30pm I opened the window back up to find a Lolly cat sitting on the outside of the window ledge, trying to get back in from where the escaped. We can sleep well tonight! Lolly is no longer lost or on an adventure . . depending on perspective 🙂
