We left an hour later than I had wanted. But, I got all of my home schooler’s final papers ready to go in to the company we use for curriculum! We were a little late. Whatever. It’s done. And although I had a target leave-by time, it didn’t really matter today. We don’t have anything planned til tomorrow.
When we got about to the state line is when I realized the things I forgot. But, it’s nothing that we can’t work around. There are stores here!
I didn’t get all my work done before we left. There was a slim chance of that any way. But, I am thankful that my laptop is here. And I was purposefully accepting work with due dates while I’m gone. I don’t get vacation time. When I don’t work, I don’t get paid. So I can work a little in my downtime here. I don’t sit still well anyway!
I didn’t get near enough sleep last night. I woke up two hours before my alarm. But, I stayed awake just fine today! And I should sleep good tonight.
Tonight I am thankful that for everything that didn’t go quite right, there is a “but”. This is a good trip! I love driving thru the mountains! Today was no exception! And we’ll have lots more good stuff to come!!
