Melvin turns 50!

When we were leaving Michigan for our recent trip, my kiddo asked me if we were going to turn 50,000 miles on the trip.  I said, absolutely!

I was wrong!  We rolled in to the driveway in the wee hours this morning a little short of our mark.

I had some places to be today. At some point I had accidentally hit the trip odometer button and wasn’t looking at the actual mileage.  When I noticed, I changed it back and the mileage was exactly 50,000!! 

Tonight I am thankful that God cares even about the smallest things in life; like watching the minivan turn 50,000 miles old!  I almost missed it!!  Melvin, the minivan, has been a great purchase!  I’ve only had him eight months.  But, he runs great! I’ve been racking the miles on him and loading him down with everything!  This was our first rebuilt title purchase and required a little extra research and verification.  But totally worth it; saving around $10k versus a clear titled similar van.  And Melvin has been just peachy!
