Senior

Inspired by my kiddo who graduated early, my last school aged kiddo has also decided to put in the work and graduate early.  This is exciting to me, as a home school mom!  One more year and we are done!

This also means Senior Pictures!  I’ll give the recap here that I take my kiddos’ senior pictures.  I’ve always loved photography.  And when my first graduating kiddo wanted senior pictures in every season; that was the deciding factor.  I was not going to hire a photographer four times to catch every season.  Then we just ran with it. And I’ve done the other kiddos as well.

Now we are on the last kiddo!  I was driving to church this morning and saw a stack of railroad ties by the railroad,  my brain threw out great ideas for pictures with my kiddo on these.  We aren’t going to discuss legalities here.  Moving on.

Later in the day when I mentioned the idea, my kiddo was on board!  A change of clothes and we were on our way!

Did you know that railroad ties are covered in oil?  Nope, I did not know that until today!  My vision totally couldn’t work!  He couldn’t touch them, let alone climb on them.  Oops!

Tonight I am thankful that there is still plenty of time for senior pictures!  And I am thankful for getting ice cream on the way home from our failed photo shoot!  😁😋
