‘Twas the night before surgery,
We won’t drive there in a Mercury.
I’m super excited to be better,
I’ve been waiting since they issued the letter.
April was when things started going downhill faster,
I did pretty good keeping a smile on with a plaster.
The majority of days weren’t bad,
The other 25% of painful days made me mad!
On the day before surgery, to get myself prepared,
I wrote two offers, typed three appraisals, and did my ninja try-out share.
I have big hopes for after tomorrow,
After the healing, I’ll be like; What’s Up Bro! 😆
Tonight I am thankful for a small surgery,
I know it’ll take a few days to get back my energy.
A week or two weeks from now I should feel better,
And I’ll dance around in my celebration sweater!
(I don’t really have a sweater just for celebrating. But it rhymed well!)
