When I first heard the trend, my head was playing Fran Drescher in The Nanny saying “demure” 🤣
Ok, totally lacking a segway now. But, the chain of events go like this:
- I start a new work out program (yesterday) and first up was a leg day.
- I made the final decision that I would be going to do the Mackinaw Bridge Walk.
- Hubster expresses concern since I’ve been recovering and still tire quicker than normal.
- I, staying true to being me, assures the hubster that I’ll be fine!!
- I wake up early, walk the Bridge, walk stairs at a lighthouse, walk a short trail and climb on rocks, and then walk the SkyBridge in Boyne.
- Hubster’s concerns were valid, but I’m not wrong either! I did do all the things!
Tonight I am thankful that, despite the migraine and extreme tiredness that hit a couple hours from home, I made it! I am thankful for peppermint oil that helped with both of those things. I am thankful that my legs did all the things today! Although, I am sure I heard my legs yelling at me – You are NOT being mindful; NOT being demure! 🤣🤣
