He is the only man to get close to me and not break my heart (Sorry to the hubster. But, facts are facts).
He had one of the top tempers I had seen for decades, yet he never tried to make me afraid. I knew I was safe with him, no matter what.
He wasn’t sure what to do with a daughter. But, he learned quick that I didn’t want to be an exception. I wanted to be treated the same as my brother, so he did.
He believed in me and expected me to try. He wanted our family to flourish.
He loved his family, grandkids, kids, siblings, cousins, etc. But, he loved my Mom the most. And she loved him right back. Those two were opposites whom God pieced together to be stronger as one. ❤
Tonight I am thankful for my Marky. 35 years just doesn’t seem like enough.
