I bought these plates for Easter. I put them in the cupboard. Today, it looks like some kiddos were eating leftover birthday cake, used all the birthday plates, and opened the Easter plates.
It kind of made me smile, which might be silly I guess. What is left of the plates aren’t going to make it to Easter. Maybe I’ll buy more. Maybe I won’t. The plates are cute no matter when we use them. See the cute little bunny?
Holidays change over the years. Kiddos grow up. All my kiddos won’t be here for Easter. But, the plates get to be useful and look cute for kiddos even if it is on a different day!
Tonight I am thankful for adult(ish) kiddos. I loved our Easters with them little. I loved our Easters with them medium sized. And I will love our Easters with them as adults. No matter what age they are, no matter where they are; I think the right way to celebrate holidays is to focus on the love for them and not whether they can all be in the house or using bunny plates. ❤️
