I made the decision last Friday/Saturday to do a dedicated low carb/high protein diet this week with 18/6 intermittent fasting. I’ve been doing good!
Today I had plans to grab pizzas. And I was debating about eating the pizza. It smelled sooooo good!
I picked the smallest piece from the box! And guess what?! It didn’t blow my numbers! Hooray!
Tomorrow I will have a few more carbs, although I will still keep it low. Tomorrow I am going to the steam engine show, and they have yummy, yummy food there! And, for this all to last, it has to be reasonable; which means I will have some of the yummy food, within reason! Then there is the fair. I will have some food there too. But, aside from those two events, I will be back on the very, very low carb, high protein eating! And for those two events, I will be reasonable!
Tonight I am thankful for my little piece of pizza! How is change sustainable? Well, I don’t have the key to that yet . . . but the smaller piece of pizza has got to be part of the plan!
