We returned from our trip Monday night. Tuesday morning I started back watching my food. I believe this bleeding ulcer has turned a corner in healing. I’m not 100%, but I don’t think I need to live in triple consideration that every day food might have me paused with life for days anymore. I am still avoiding the majority of grease like the black plague of death and any other horrible words for plagues that could go here.
I’ve been doing good for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and most of today . . but today . . I had some candy. And a cupcake. And, I am ok with these decisions. Because, for something to be sustainable, it has to be fair. Not eating candy on Halloween is just not a step that I am prepared to take at this time!
I did keep my candy to a minimum. I did throw in a fruit snack packet to curb some of the sweet craving. And I did enter the food, all the food, including the candy, in to my Weight Watchers app. Maybe I should have had a potato or a piece of chicken . . but, there’s always tomorrow for that 🙂
Tonight I am thankful for a little bit of candy on Halloween. Moderation and maybe a little bit more exercise tomorrow are a good plan 🙂 But the candy was worth it!
