Cheer Is Not Done!
I thought cheer was done. But, well, ok, my mind is always thinking about everything anyway; so nothing is really ever done!
The kids and I went to a rummage sale today at St Mary’s church in Williamston (they are open tomorrow too!). We went to their rummage sale last year and found some good stuff. So we’d been planning on going this weekend.
To be honest, I haven’t felt super well today. My fuzzy, sleepy head wasn’t letting me concentrate on work. And my house is just a little loud to sleep well during the day. When I saw that the sale was going on today, it just sounded like a better thing to do than sit here and feel guilty for not being able to concentrate! The kids were home early from a half day of school; so why not?
When we walked in, there was a LOT of stuff! But in the hallway there were some furniture items. I don’t really need more furniture. But, I am looking for an older entertainment center about 2-3 feet wide to convert in to a multi-story bunny pen! I saw someone do this conversion at a house I went to and I think my bunny would love it!
As I walked down the furniture hallway, I saw gymnastic mats standing at the end of the hallway! Surely they couldn’t be for sale too, could they? I walked closer to them . . very quickly! They were for sale! And cheap!! We’ve wanted to added gymnastic mats to our cheer program, but it just isn’t in the budget right now. We’ve been working on building a good bank of uniforms, poms, etc. Mats simply were not at the top of the list.
I walked right in and the nice lady put a sold sign on the mats! Then I walked around and looked at the rest of the stuff. We got quite a few things at excellent bargains today!
Tonight I am thankful today for finding two gymnastic mats that definitely fit the budget!! This is going to be so great for our program!!!
