If I could give my children a great gift, I would give them the ability to see themselves as God sees them. Each one has such special gifts that I adore. I can’t wait to see all that God has planned for their lives!
If I could give them a second gift, I would give them blinders and ear plugs. The world will feed them all sorts of lies, call them names, laugh at them, and try to kill their spirits. I wish I could keep those things from ever entering their hearts and minds.
Tonight I am thankful for being able to pray for my children. Sometimes I just can’t fix things for them. Sometimes I have to sit back and let them grow up and fight battles. Sometimes I . . . I wish I had a magic wand. And when I can’t help, God can. Yes, tonight I am thankful for prayer, because this Momma needs help.
