I knew that this year would have some big changes. Before I even knew what they were, I just knew that this year was it!
I have recently added another position to my businesses. I have debated on how to do this for several months now.
After some discussion with others, consulting with my Mommy (because it’s always good to ask you Mommy stuff!), and doing a bit of research online; I finally had found what looked like the right direction for this position. This week is my first week with this person and I think it is going to work out wonderfully!
Getting help with my businesses is not the easiest thing for me. In the past 12 (almost 13) years, I’ve never really had anyone help me with the running a business aspect of things. The kick off this year was finding a really good accountant. I restructured both businesses and that started my snowball effect.
I joined Entreleadership All Access which provided invaluable ideas, discussions, and philosophies of business! I have been working on implementing more and more new things ever since. This latest addition is a big one for me. It involves giving up control. It involves trusting someone else to do things as I would do them. And it means letting someone else represent me in these business relationships that I have grown. It is big. It is strange. It is scary. And I am soo ready! I need help. I’ve needed help for some time!
Tonight I am thankful for my new business helper! I think she is going to work out great! I told her that she has to be patient with me and ask lots of questions because I am used to do doing these things myself. And she is up for the challenge of working with me!
