Today I picked up a rental. My dear car, Blueberry may be visiting awhile at the shop where she was dragged after her little fainting episode last Friday.
I think I should make a goal of renting a car once a year. Maybe even just for a day. With coupons and groupons and sales, it could be a fun experience! Unlimited miles and a new ride just feel like a good time! It doesn’t even matter that I drove the van around while working today! It just felt a little special!
I really do miss having a moon roof! That is already going on my list of desired features for my next car! The back-up camera is nice!
I have to say I really am not sure of my feelings on the push button start. I could easily see myself locking the keys in the van over the next few days. I am a person who has locked my keys in my car before. So I have a little routine with taking the key out of the ignition. Honestly I’m not really sure that the push button start will ever be on my wish list. But, it’s fun to try it out!
Tonight I am thankful for rental cars! For a price, a person can pretend they have the latest and greatest in the automotive world! Maybe next time I’ll rent a sports car! Do they even do that I wonder?
