I decided late this afternoon to go to Petsmart to get some pain medicine for my Molly girl. She had a pretty rough morning this morning. I thought after she moved around for a bit that she would feel better. But she wasn’t doing so well.
Her leg brace came in today. And that does seem to help her some. But still . . she looked so pitiful. We talked about taking her to the vet if she doesn’t improve. In the meantime, I wanted to help her a little. I did some looking online, and it looked like Petsmart would have something to help her.
I was doing things, and then decided I should get going. I looked up the store’s hours and found out they were closing in a half hour. I had to get moving!!!
I grabbed my keys and jumped in the car. As I started down the road, I saw the hubster heading towards the house in his car. He motioned something funny at me. I called him to see what he needed. A kitten had been up inside my car and had jumped out when I was on the road, leaving the house! 😦 Tears sprang instantly to my eyes.
He said the kitten ran to the neighbors. So it was alive at least. I knocked on their door and asked if I could look around the yard. I couldn’t find the kitten and I had to leave if I wanted to make it to the store in time. The kiddos were heading over to continue looking while I left. Oh, I felt horrible.
A few minutes later the hubster called me. The kids found the kitten! And it really was ok! They brought it inside the house and gave it all sorts of love and treats 🙂
Tonight I am thankful that I did not kill a kitten today! And I am thankful that towards the end of the day, my Molly girl was moving around a bit more! I think the brace is helping her 🙂
