The kids and I had a wonderful day at the zoo today! Over the years, we’ve been making the rounds of the zoos in the area. Binder Park zoo has been a tough one for us. Every time we plan on going there, it rains. Or something else seems to always comes up. But today we conquered this zoo! (P.S. we don’t bring the hubster to the zoo much. He gets the sneezers from the critters!)
While we were there I snapped a picture of the kids and I on the train together. I remembered having a picture of us sitting together on the train when we went to the Detroit Zoo too. So back home, I started digging thru pictures to find that other train pic. Turns out I was way off on how many years ago we had went to the Detroit Zoo!!
What I did find was a wonderful trip down memory lane while looking for that one specific photo! I remembered the month we had went, but not the year. And let me tell you, my heart is full of the warm fuzzies from looking at pictures of my loves over the past several years! What a perfect unplanned ending to a wonderful day!
Tonight I am thankful for a day like today, spent having fun with my kiddos! I am thankful for all the moments, days, weeks, months, and years these blessings have called me mom ❤ They are my life ❤
