This past year has been complex. In the past 12+/- months I have lost two very important people in my life. I have had two surgeries. I have had to change the name of my new business because it was mistaken for an x-rated business 🙄 And I have helped renovate two houses that were not planned for in any long term year plan.
But also, two very important people in my life are now at peace. I am on my way back to healthier. I am so excited about the new name for the new business – it has so much more depth and meaning. And I was blessed to be able to be a blessing to others during important times in their lives.
Life also had my continued blessings of my kiddos; getting to walk with them thru their varying stages of life is always something I am thankful for! I am blessed to have been working with my great real estate clients. I consider myself fortunate to be planning next year’s ending of the appraisal business. I have gotten to take many more trips in these past 12 months.
Tonight I am thankful for the past year of being on this Earth. I don’t believe events are tied to an age. But, I am also not sad to be closing the door on this particular age. It had The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. Maybe this next year at this new age will be more It’s a Wonderful Life or maybe Fight Club 🤣
