A random reel showing this trail and a view of the Mackinaw Bridge months ago is what lead to today.

This trail was on the agenda on Labor Day. But there was the whole issue of too much traffic (cars and foot traffic) to get to the middle of the Mackinac Bridge in enough time to be allowed to cross. I got turned back. The ferry was ridiculously backed up, so the island was out too. I went to a favorite park and went home.

The trail with the view was on hold. Fast forward to today! And now, because it is fall, the Sky Bridge was added to the agenda!

Tonight I am thankful for a great day seeing beautiful sights with my brother! I stayed up late last night to do my work ahead. I just finished working now and I’m all caught up. Which, makes me thankful again for having work that I can move around to be able to do other things some times 🙂
