Tag: broke screen

I always get sturdy phone cases for my cell phone.  I use it a lot for work, so my phone doesn’t  get an easy life.

But, just this once, I wanted to get a pretty case with glitter and shiny-ness!  The case came, and it was pretty smooth.  Smooth to the point of being slippery.  I had plans to use the hot glue gun and put some grippies on it.

Sadly, before I got around to doing that, I set on a pile of extension cords – where my old phone case would have held it.  The slippery, but pretty case slipped right off the pile, and splatted itself face first on a concrete floor.  The screen was damaged.

I ordered a new phone and a new grippy case.  I plan on taking the old phone in and getting it fixed, then it can become a new phone for someone else in the family.

Tonight I am thankful that the new phone came in today.  The old phone has been hanging on for days, but tonight the screen started flashing bright colors, signifying the very near ending of itself.  So I’ve been setting up the new phone tonight and should be good to operate effectively  tomorrow  with it. Good timing!
