Confession: I don’t like coffee. Maybe I’ve shared that here before, I don’t remember. I have invited people for coffee before, and I drink hot chocolate. One time a very sweet lady brought me coffee to be nice and I just pretended to drink it, raising the cup to my lips every once in awhile, thankfully it had a lid!
I would love to be a coffee drinker! I mean, it’s pretty much everywhere! It is natural and has caffeine! And it can be reasonably priced! I mean, come on! I would love to like the stuff!
For my whole life I have watched my mom and grandma wrap their hands around a hot cup of coffee and get all warmed up! I was a generally cold person. After my concussion a couple of years ago, it knocked my internal thermostat. Now I have weird days of being cold like I used to be, but overall I’m a tad warmer person.
Today was one of those cold days! I was chilly most of the morning. Then after going thru a parking lot in to the cold car, I got worse. My kiddo talked me in to lunch at Applebee’s, and I had a gift card in my purse! I took my coat in with me! The very nice waitress was telling us about the drink specials and mentioned hot chocolate!! I didn’t know Applebee’s served hot chocolate!
Tonight I am thankful for this delicious cup of hot chocolate today! The cup was like a fiery heater! And the hot chocolate was the perfect mix of creamy chocolate! I’m not usually a big whipped cream fan in my cocoa. But today, it fit perfectly! Yum!!
