Do you want to hear a great problem to have? This night versus the last several Sunday nights I am not feeling doing a fast tomorrow. That might sound normal right? Like I want to eat food tomorrow, duh?
Except this is exceptional! The majority of the food that I have eaten this week has been eaten without pain! I have made smart food choices. I have been taking my vitamins. I have been drinking at least 108 oz of water per day. I have been exercising regularly. And I’ve been trying my best to get adequate sleep.
But the biggest difference from all this and the weeks before is the fasting. For the last 3 Mondays I have been fasting. And for two of the last three Tuesdays I’ve been fasting.Â
Mostly I am excited to be able to be eating and not waiting for the food to attack me! So despite how I am feeling, I’m going to keep up with the things that work.Â
Tonight I am thankful for fasting tomorrow (no matter how boring it sounds)! I am thankful for the opportunity to do something that continues healing in my body. I am thankful for this past week of being able to eat intentionally and without pain. And I am super thankful for the continued healing going on!!
