Once upon a time a girl had a flashlight with a knife. The flashlight was in a mini-mag light style. And the knife came out of the end/handle of the flashlight. The girl loved the flashlight/knife combo! She took it with her to all the foreclosures that she appraised! Sometimes she forgot that it was sticking out of her back pants pocket and it would get stuck on random things. Then, one sad day, the girl sat down quickly, the flashlight got stuck, and snapped in two. The girl was very sad that she broke her favorite flashlight/knife. She could not find another one to purchase to replace the one that she broke.
Yep, you guessed it . . that girl is me.
When my kiddo asked what else I would want for Christmas, and I really had no other ideas; I went to my defaults – a knife/flashlight combo and a dead-bolt lock picking set. Actually, I’m not really sure if I mentioned the lock picking set. Hmm . . . anyway . . .
Tonight I am thankful that my kiddo totally delivered! This is a little different style than my last one. But, that is only a good thing. I won’t snap this one in half!! I used the flashlight today in a foreclosure with no lights in the basement! Hooray! There was nothing dangerous in the foreclosure, so I didn’t have to use the knife part yet . . but, that is a good thing too! 🙂
