I used to strictly be a holidays in order type of person. I am changing. I’ve been fighting the urge to watch Christmas movies for weeks now. I’ve already bought my first Christmas purchase for the year. Actually, I blame the hubster for that. He put it in the cart when we were shopping and I stopped to play with it 🙂

I still like Thanksgiving! For goodness sake, this blog has been about being thankful for almost fifteen years now!! I find great, life-changing value in gratitude and thanksgiving!! I also like Christmas 🙂

Last year didn’t feel very Christmasey to me. Losing two very dear loved ones right before the holidays sucked. And I just wasn’t feeling very festive. This year, I’m feeling more festive. I think my turkey decorations would look good with a little tinsel! 🙂

Tonight I am thankful that a person can change their opinion on such things! Seriously, this isn’t even a serious thing to have an opinion on. The world will keep turning. No one will be hurt either way. And I am thankful that my Christmas boxes are easily accessible to start their venture up from the basement a little at a time! 🙂
