What you see here is a woman who depleted about a third of her brain cells in one sitting today. Thankfully, it is anticipated that the brain cells will rejuvenate tonight while sleeping.
So, here:s the sitch: I got a new phone last week and could not get my appraisal emails to work with the mail app. It is a Microsoft Exchange based mail, so it should have been rather seamless. But, no.
Friday, on the long drive away, and Monday, on the long drive back, I pulled out my laptop when we stopped for lunch to check emails. Rather annoying. And I possibly lost work on late bids.
Meanwhile, I’ve been researching and troubleshooting; why won’t this work?! Today was the day. I was going to solve this no matter what!!!
Years ago I had contemplated changing my business model. I did some rebranding and had hired a company to help. He had redone my website and email. I honestly hadn’t thought much about it; but now, years later. . . Yeah, so the website subscription that I bought on their multi-year deal had expired. And I have a new debit card, so it could renew.
I was still in a grace period, so my email was still working. But, being in the grace period, the account was limited, so it wasn’t going to allow my new device to connect.
Tonight I am thankful that this is straightened out! My website subscriptiom is renewed. My email is working. And all it cost me was days of troubles, hours of researching, and the braincells that held my operating capacity for the remainder of today!! 😅
