We have an old farm house with an added back porch that my barn kitties love. The door is to the east, so the weather stays out a bit. But, I wanted to make the space a little better for them two years ago.
Did you know that on Amazon, you can buy the plastic pieces that they use on commercial walk-in freezers? Well, yes you can. And my kitties greatly appreciate it! This will be our third winter with the heavy plastic flaps.
Tonight I am thankful for the one time investment that helps keep the kitties warmer and out of the weather. Yes we have a barn. Yes we have a garage. But the kitties like the porch. And I must protect the kitties!! 😻
